Creative Women of Valdemoro is the title of the collective exhibition that will be hosted by the Ana María Matute Municipal Library and La Estación Centro Cultural from March 7 to 31.
About twenty local artists will exhibit their work, framed in the disciplines of crafts, painting, drawing, photography and illustration.
In the room of La Estación Centro Cultural you can see ceramic pieces, patchwork or cross-stitch fabrics and paintings of different pictorial techniques, such as watercolor, oil, acrylic or pastel.
On the other hand, those who come to the Ana María Matute library to take the pulse of the creativity of the Valdemoreñas will be able to admire a series of drawings made in graphite, snapshots in black and white and color, with a predominance of portraits, and digital designs.
The list of women artists participating in this collective exhibition is made up of Pilar Álvarez, Esther Arias, Patricia del Campo, Noemi Cantarero, Ángela Coronel, Charo Cuadros, Rosa Elena, Eugenia González, Pilar González Bastanchuri, Rosa Heras, Mercedes Jiménez, Almudena López, Noelia de Luis, Cristina Martínez, Raquel Muñoz, Antonia Portalo, Gloria Prado, Rosa Sambucety and María Ureche.
The Mujeres creativas de Valdemoro exhibition is included in the program with which the City Council commemorates International Women's Day, made up of more than a dozen free cultural, awareness and sensitization proposals in favor of equality.
