Rosa Sambucety is a Spanish photographer based in Madrid. She began his passion for photography in 1992, working in a small photographic studio where she learned all the secrets of analogic photograph. Since then, and in a self-taught way, he has been expanding his knowledge in the digital world and has currently made this passion his profession.

Her admiration for  painting, especially  portraiture, has notoriously influenced her  which, in her work, through different techniques, both in capturing the image and in its subsequent processing, this approach to classical or contemporary painting can be perceived.

 

In her own words, Rosa Sambucety falls deeply in love with what she photographs, idealizes it and tries to turn it into spaces where she develops her life. In portraits, when shooting, try to make the camera a passive subject, giving importance and respecting the personality of the photographed subject. At the time of processing, try to highlight the magic of the model or the place.
